SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.
SASSA will be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency said it's alarmed with regards to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is because of the lack of click here infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area each day. The services point established for intervention activities a higher inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to enable the servicing of all shoppers and improve use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
